A group of elderly men is gathered around a man who is seated in a cloud of smoke. He reveals to them that he has discovered the one in the local flea market. He claims that he is unable to stop thinking about her or forget how he feels about her.

The second story was inspired by a passage about a young couple who fell in love after meeting at a garage sale:

“I know I’m crazy, but I just can’t stop thinking about you.”

Carter and his pregnant girlfriend introduce themselves in the opening chapter. Their relationship is struggling, yet he can’t stop thinking about her.

In a dream he had one night, he saw himself kissing and making love with her once more. He spends all day thinking about it, and at the end of the day, he’s come to the conclusion that saying “I love you” to her before she heads off to work tomorrow is his last hope of rekindling their romance.

“Can’t you see how much I love you?”

A person who says something to you isn’t just showing off their complimenting skills. There’s also the fact that they’re trying to make sure you feel appreciated and loved. The point is that there are a variety of ways in which the lady you like can misinterpret what you say when you try to woo her, so be careful when you make such a statement.

When it comes to expressing our affection for another person, it is crucial that we do it honestly and openly (and vice versa).

“Maybe if we’re really, really good to each other, we can make it work.”

In this exchange, two people who love one another and want to be together express their feelings to one another. They’re discussing their mutual feelings of affection and the potential for their relationship to flourish if they were each other’s best friends.

There are several instances in this chat where things seem less than perfect (as when Mansfield says “maybe if we’re really, really kind to each other…”), but overall, the tone is positive.

“You’re my heart, my soul. My world is yours and yours alone.”

The speaker is a female.

You have my entire being in you. While I’m with you, the entire world belongs to you.

[The guy’s tuning in.]

“Yes, yes. I will always be here for you,” he says with a nod. “I promise that I won’t let anyone else come between us.”

The following is an excerpt from a love story between two young lovers who met at a flea market.

While Lana Carter browsed the racks of clothing, she expressed her disappointment at her inability to locate the item she sought. She was sweating through her favorite yellow shirt and trousers since it was so hot, but she still hadn’t found anything at the Mansfield, Ohio (population: 36) flea market that she liked or that fulfilled her needs (even basic things like t-shirts or sweaters would have been acceptable). “I just wanted a new outfit for when my boyfriend brings me out on Saturdays.”

“Me too,” said Jason Mansfield, who, like Jason, was eyeing a certain clothing rack.

Just select something that fits you and me well and is comfy, and we’ll be set to go.”

This is an excerpt from a tale about two young people who fall in love after meeting at a flea market. Jason Mansfield, the young guy, needed some new weekend attire. Whatever he found, all that mattered was that it be comfortable enough for him to wear out with his girlfriend on Saturday evenings, and he didn’t care what it was. He was perusing the Mansfield, Ohio, flea market (population 36).
